New Features in Version 4.7.3

One of the advantages of being a small company,  we’re able to implement software changes almost real time.  This allows us to receive input from our customers,  evaluate and consider proposed changes,  and implement them if the demand is high enough and it doesn’t impact the basic functionality of our product.  Here are a couple changes that we just implemented into the touchscreen and control module.

1) User select-able shore power capacity (SHORE AMPS) – Normally we’re always plugged into a 30 amp shore power receptacle. However, if the pedestal circuit breaker is weak and pops at a lower amperage. Or perhaps  you’re plugged into a 15 or 20 amp service and you’d like to have the SHED capability at these lower amperage’s. You can now select a lower amperage “SHORE AMPS”  and the pre-SHED and SHED functions will work against the lower amps. i.e. Normally, with 30 amp service, SHED will start taking place at about 28 amps. If you set SHORE AMPS at 25 amps, shedding will now start taking place at about 23 amps.

If the shore capacity you select is anything other than 30 amps, the main screen ” AC AMPS” will show it. i.e. if you selected 25 amps, the main screen will display ” AC AMPS (25) “. This serves as a reminder that you  selected something out of the default normal setting (30).

2) Speaking of AC AMPS – The color of the text will now change. If you’re amperage is starting to approach the SHED point, the text will change to YELLOW.

3) SAVING CHANGES …. Now when you click any of the SAVE buttons, You’ll see the SAVING CHANGES in the bottom left part of the screen. IMPORTANT NOTE: Some changes are saved automatically about 30 seconds after the last click on the touch screen.
