If you’ve already installed the Waiter ECC, one of the add on options is an additional remote control / display. In addition to controlling the Waiter ECC from your main touchscreen, a Remote touchscreen provides the same functionality from anywhere in your motorhome.
The remote touchscreen uses the same touchscreen hardware and software as the main touchscreen, but in a different enclosure. (NOTE- If you want the same enclosure as the main screen please call before ordering).
The display can be mounted flush on a wall, similar to the main touchscreen, It can be mounted on a wall with a removable slide plate that allows the remote touchscreen to be easily removed. It can also sit nicely on a countertop, dashboard, etc. The remote touchscreen can be powered by 12 volts or a 120 volt wall transformer (included).. (5.5×2.1mm plug, center pin is positive)
All the operator screens are the same as the main touchscreen and control the Waiter ECC system exactly the same as the main screen.
There are two types of display enclosures available for the display. 1) The “Official” enclosure is the one used for the main display unit (every Waiter ECC touchscreen comes with the “official” enclosure), and, 2) the VonLinder enclosure. We prefer to use the VonLinder enclosure for the remote display as it comes with special wall mount slide plates that allow the display to be easily mounted to a wall, then removed and set on a counter top.
