Most Waiter ECC installations work out fine after the wall opening is enlarged to accommodate the back of the touchscreen. The rear of the ECC touchscreen is then recessed inside the hollow wall and mounts flush against the wall using the two strips of Velcro tape. However, if the Velcro isn't sticking to your Lauan wall material (very thin plywood), or you require additional clearance inside the hollow wall, then this plate may help.

The plate mounts to the wall with four screws, your touchscreen is then held in the plate using industrial strength Velcro.
